STEP Safety Management System Award

The Platinum Step Award, from the Associated Builders and Contractors, represents a significant effort and success in developing and implements a safety management sytem for Specialty Group.  STEP participation demonstrates safety focus and a cultural commitment to safety leadership.  STEP applicants measure their safety process and policies on 25 key components with the goal of implementing and enhancing safety programs that reduce job site incidents.

Ray and Patti Skelton's leadership demonstrates a commitment to create conditions for all to do their work without incident.  By implementing proactive safety measures, Specialty is committed to consistently raising the bar when it comes to safety performance.  This represents a significant effort from the whole team at Specialty group in their ongoing efforts for safety.
